DENKI DOMINO is a unique installation where dominoes emit both light and sound. The term 'DENKI' translates to electricity in Japanese. Each domino is equipped with a light sensor and LEDs on the opposite side. When one domino detects light, it emits LED light from its other side along with a corresponding sound. Unlike traditional dominoes that rely on the transfer of physical energy through falling, DENKI DOMINO utilizes light to trigger the next domino without toppling it over. Each domino is associated with a different musical note, allowing for the composition of music as well. When arranged in a circle, the interplay of sound and light creates a captivating looping effect. DENKI DOMINO has been exhibited in Fukuoka(Japan), Taipei(Taiwan) and Rosario(Arsentina).
