The LCD display typically features a white backlight to ensure uniform brightness across all pixels. However, in this project, the backlight of the LCD is substituted with a light bulb. A warm white light passes through the liquid crystal 'valve' of the LCD panel, resulting in a transparent image with varying brightness in each pixel. The visual, sound, and light aspects are controlled by a custom application, allowing for the creation of digital images combined with analog light synthesis.
