dial static

dial_static is a spinoff project of 'dial' music composition app project. 'dial' has a special feature to emit milions of particles and trigger sound at the timing of particle collision calulated by Bullet Physics engine. I was attracted by the beauty of collision and captured miracle moment by testing hundred of different initial condition Program code of the app was also extracted at the time of compile and execution and each charactors ware placed at the position of each particles. Resulted digital image was printed on an A1 format. As you walk to the print, it looks like a Japanese carigraphy from the distance, realize it is text hard to read and finaly you will notice it is code of the artwork itself from detailed investigation. 'dial_static' received a prize of Asia Digital Art award 2010.
